Огляд показав, що останні півстоліття лапідарна палеографія Ольвії перебуває у системній кризі, відсутні реальні та прозорі алгоритми прийняття рішень. Синхронізація епонімного каталогу дозволила отримати десятки датованих за просопографією лапідарних (та/або інших) написів Ольвії. Ці написи повинні стати підґрунтям для побудови сучасного об’єктивного алгоритму лапідарної палеографії. Разом із тим, попередні дослідження вказують на те, що очікувати якійсь прорив у точності палеографічних датувань не варто. Можливо сподіватися лише на розробку єдиного  алгоритму палеографічного датування.

The review showed:  the lapidary paleography of Olbia is in a systemic crisis for the past half-century. In particular, there are no real and transparent decision-making algorithms. Synchronization of the eponymous catalogue made it possible to obtain dozens of prosopographically dated lapidary (and/or other) inscriptions of Olbia. These inscriptions, using modern tools research should become the basis for building an objective algorithm of lapidary paleography. At the same time, preliminary studies indicate that we should not expect any breakthrough in the accuracy of paleographic dating. It is possible to hope only for the development of a single algorithm of paleographic dating.
